I hate to say this, but I mentioned this coming to pass when they first acquired Mytic Entertainment. I feel bad right now because I am still looking for employment and I know many of the folks who were just laid off.

Ok, so this is an interesting change of events. With the announcement of EA making cutbacks this news is concerning. I wonder if there is any correlation between the two.

Today, Bioware just announced their new class to the upcoming online MMO, Star Wars The Old Republic.

I have been waiting for this to be announced for quite a while, since AGDC (Austin Game Developer Conference). There was some chatter about it, however no official word. Well, I guess the official word is out now.
